Want to put a connector on the rear panel of your transceiver but don’t want to drill… Check this out! NO DRILLING, NO WASTE OF YOUR NERVOUS
SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR LOVELY TRANSCEIVER!
Now your question- Why Do I need this bracket mount for?
Some of us (QRM makers) wants to modify and get more functions from the transceiver.
Another question – What functions and mods?
Oh, many functions, for example – THE PANORAMIC DISPLAY, IF signals, control line and etc.
Is that sounds good?
Tell you something – I’m Alex K6VHF and my Kenwood TS-2000x has a panoramic display on VHF and UHF.
Your question – What Do I need for that?
You need a couple things and if you interested fell free to contact me. Also check my website http://k6vhf.com for details.

Basically this is a typical drawing of connections between transceiver and antenna in case of use the LNA (Low Noise Amplifier).
The first one is the 144 MHz set-up. Use the transceiver and LNA without power amplifier.
-one coax cable
-2 coax relays
On this picture you can see the 144 MHz set-up with power amplifier. This one is good for EME and MS operation.
-two coax cables
-2 coax relays
You also can use this set-up for 432 MHz band. For 23 cm band I recommend use this set-up.
Check my portable 6 m band antenna for portable work. It is a simple dipole antenna but I use two fishing poles as elements. Works fine. SWR is 1:1.05.
Also I use the tripod and short plastic pipe. Good simple antenna for the portable.
Check my portable bag for Yaesu radios (FT-817, FT-857). Bag has three main sections. On the right section for an antenna analyzer or antenna tuner (has a waterproof case). On the left side you can store cables, headsets, headphones, interfaces, etc.
The central part of the bag has two sections. One for the transceiver and second for a battery. Also, the bag has several pockets where you can store documents, instructions and manual.
The cover has several pockets and they are all waterproof. The upper pocket can be used for a netbook or ipad.
Bag can be used as a backpack, this is an additional straps.
